Hey Besties!
On today's podcast Katie and I discussed the done is better than perfect mindset. It was focused towards health and working out but the mindset goes for anything!!!
I know I struggle with wanting what ever I do to be perfect. Or as perfect as I can get it. However when I am struggling with dark seasons of life I know that "perfect" is far out of my grasp so that eventually turns into not doing anything at all. Which then feeds the depression because I feel useless. It's such a vicious cycle!
When I do tasks that I really don't enjoy doing, like working out or putting away my clothes, as soon as I'm done I truly look back and can't believe I did it! These might seem like simple tasks but the mind space that goes into doing them is anything but simple.
